Frequently Asked Questions

Q.   How much will my telephone call to the call centre cost me?

A.    Calls are charged at 10p per minute plus 6p connection fee from a BT landline, other networks and mobiles may vary).

Q.     I am unable to use the journey planner due to an ‘invalid time’ error message.

A.    Enter time using a colon to separate the numbers e.g. 12:20.

Q.   How do I use the Journey Planner Page?

A.    Enter your origin and destination (this can be town, street, postcode or address), select the time and date you wish to travel and select your desired mode of travel.

Q.   How do I use the Timetable Page?

A.    Enter the service number (this can be found by using the Journey Planner), select time and date you wish to travel and then look up timetable. To see earlier / later times select Earlier / Later tabs at bottom of page. For reverse journey, select Reverse tab.

Q.   How do I plan a journey to outside Wales?

A.    If your journey can be made by rail, you can plan it using the Traveline Cymru website. If it is a journey which includes local buses not within Wales, visit the Transport Direct website www.transportdirect.info.

Q.   Where can I get fare information?

A.    For fare information please contact our bilingual call centre on 0871 200 22 33 (open 0700-2200 daily, calls charged at 10p per minute plus 6p connection fee from BT landline, other networks and mobiles may vary). Alternatively follow the links on our Fares page to public transport operator’s websites.

Q.   Where do I go to complain about bus operators?

Q.   Where do I go to get my concessionary bus pass?

A.    For concessionary passes, please contact the Transport Department within your local authority. Links to each local authority website can be found on the Links page of this website.

Q.           Where can I use my Welsh Concessionary Pass?

A.            Within Wales, the pass can be used on all local bus services. The Welsh pass cannot be used for travel within England and the English pass cannot be used for travel within Wales.
