Planner and Timetable Pages
After listening to your comments and feedback
about the website, we have now introduced new and improved
Journey Planner and Timetable pages. We hope you all agree that
the new set up looks great, so much so we’re adapting the rest
of the Traveline website to match. Please bear with us while

Taxi Information on Traveline.txt
Missing the last bus home can be frustrating, but Traveline Cymru
has come to the rescue. Being stranded with no way of knowing how to
get home will be a thing of the past now that Traveline.txt can
provide enquirers with information about approved taxi companies.
Traveline.txt is a service which provides travellers with bus times
directly to their mobile phone. All that is needed is the unique
seven digit code which can be found either at the bus stop or by
visiting the
Traveline.txt page. When this code is sent to 84268
for the price of a normal text message, the enquirer will receive a
free reply giving the details of the next four buses due at that
stop – and now taxi information too!
(NB. The service will only provide enquirers with taxi information
when there are no buses due within 2 hours)

Journey Planner Improvement
As requested by our users, our journey planner on our website and in
our call centre has been improved to provide journeys which involve
the minimum number of changes. This change will enable the enquirer
to be presented with the most user friendly options available for
their journey.

Traveline Number Changes
Due to a price transparency decisions made by Ofcom, the Traveline
Cymru telephone number has changed to 0871 200 22 33 (calls charged
at 10p per minute). The new telephone number will operate in
parallel to the 0870 608 2 608 until 1st February 2008.
